IDSA Delivers Statements on ID Priorities at WHO Executive Board Meeting

The World Health Organization’s Executive Board met Jan. 20-25 in Geneva, Switzerland. IDSA staff delivered several floor statements on priority issues, including WHO’s work in health emergencies, including the current COVID-19 outbreak, a new global immunization strategy, and tuberculosis research and development. Staff also met with officials from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to discuss the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, and produced this blog post for Science Speaks on funding needs for the global COVID-19 response.
