LEAP Fellowship Now Accepting Applications

IDSA, SHEA and PIDS are pleased to announce that applications for the 2020-2021 Leaders in Epidemiology, Antimicrobial Stewardship and Public Health (LEAP) Fellowship are now open.

The LEAP Fellowship is a one-year funded program aimed at training future ID leaders who can bridge the gap between clinical infectious diseases and our public health partners. It is open to ID physicians between their first year of Fellowship and up to two years post Fellowship.

Each fellow will be provided a $100,000 award to support at least 70% protected time for training and projects.

Eligibility requirements, application instructions and key dates for the fellowship are now available on the IDSA website. The application deadline is Feb. 17 and the notice of award will be March 16. The Fellowships will commence July 1.
