Physicians Counter Truvada Safety Concerns

Responding to safety concerns that stemmed from an advertising campaign seeking lawsuit plaintiffs among people reporting serious side effects related to taking Truvada, the chairs of the HIV Medicine Association and the American Academy of HIV Medicine wrote this POZ opinion piece, encouraging people living with HIV to discuss their treatment options with their providers, and reinforcing the United States Preventive Services Task Force Grade A recommendation for Truvada for PrEP.
