The Program provides training in hospital epidemiology through:

Didactic LecturesRotation with Infection Control Service. Attendance at the annual Fellows Course Hospital Control and Epidemiology

The Program provides clinical experience for fellows in the following:

Infections in marrow transplantInfections in solid organ transplant patientsInfections in travelers and tropical medicineInfections in childrenContinuity clinic for HIV+ patientsFungal infections, diagnostics, therapeuticsInfections in HIV/AIDS, including opportunisticSexually transmitted diseasesViral Infections (non-HIV), including HSV, CMV, VZEmerging pathogensVaccinologyInternational HealthFellows have the opportunity to do a month of pediatric ID at Children's National Medical Center, a month-long rotation at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), a one-week microbiology rotation at NIH, an epidemiology course at Johns Hopkins, and to attend one paid educational meeting per year.
