Bismarck Steven Bisono Garcia, MD, is an infectious diseases fellow at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is originally from the Dominican Republic, where he completed medical school and a one-year internship. He moved to New York City to complete his internal medicine residency at the SBH Health System in the Bronx, New York. His interests include transplant infectious diseases and HIV medicine, with a special passion for diversity, equity and inclusion in medicine, equitable health care access for all and LGBTQIA+ care.
